Rules, Regulations, and Fines
Underage drivers will face high penalties of Rs 25,000 for motorcycles, Rs 30,000 for cars or jeeps, Rs 50,000 for PSVs and Rs 100,000 for HTVs.
Parking:
Parking in no-parking areas also carries penalties of Rs 2,000 for bikers, Rs 10,000 for cars and jeeps, Rs 15,000 for PSVs or Rs 20,000 for HTV-s.
Driving without a seatbelt will cost 10,000 for cars and jips, or 15,000 for PSV-s or 20,000 for HT,Vs.
Using mobile phones while driving also faces fines of Rs 5,000 for motorcyclists, Rs 10,000 for cars and jeeps, Rs 15,000 for PS,Vs or Rs 20,000 for HTVs.
Throwing garbage from a moving vehicle will result in a fine of 5,000 for a motorcyclist, 10,000 for jeeps, 15,000 for P-SVs, or rS 20,000 for HTVs.
Carrying excess passengers/more than two passengers on a motorcycle, also results in a fine of up to Rs 5,000.
Parking on Footpaths will incur a penalty of 2,000 for motorcyclists, up to 20,000 for HTV.
